Energy conservation and ‘green’ buildings are inextricably intertwined. Everyone from educational facilities to condo builders is desperate to show just how far they can go to create buildings that use energy as frugally as possible with no loss of amenity.

Of course, here at Colorado vNet we have similar priorities. We have designed our system from the ground up to be energy-efficient. So if you really want to save energy, you need our Dimming Ballast Module. With eight control channels, that operate multiple types of dimming ballast, it’s perfect for controlling the intensity of fluorescent lighting in a commercial setting.

With the USA’s power infrastructure stretched as it is, every bit helps. We like to think this ingenious module will help more than most.

	Versatile design provides for 1 to 8 multiballast control channels Many fluorescent fixtures may be controlled with a single module.

	Constantly monitors its own operating state to proactively alert the system of any potential problems The board monitors itself and should something be amiss, an alert is sent to the Bridge Module to be relayed to Colorado vNet. If it is something that requires attention, a service call is generated to the system integrator to ensure that the anomaly is dealt with as soon as possible.

	Each channel provides an independent 0 to 12 VDC @ 80mA control voltage Control voltages are programmable to support various dimming ballast models.

	In the case of a power or system failure each channel holds its last setting Upon restoration of operation lighting will return to previous values.

	Each channel is monitored by a LED to display the control voltage status level Supports rapid troubleshooting and operation verification.
